  21. I have a ZOOM 14.4 fax RPI+ modem. I couldn't get the WinRPI software 
  22. working. I went through this long installation of COMit for windows.
  23. Then I ran this checkpri program. I was then using wrpi.drv as my comm
  24. driver. Also I had to modify my autoexec.bat to run their program.

  26. Supposedly, all I had to do was add +H11 to my modem initialization string.
  27. It was god awful. Of course I don't really know what I'm doing but
  28. I went back to my old driver. Everything works again.

  30. Maybe I should have struggled with it more. Perhaps you need to run the
  31. comit driver manager application in the background. However this modem is 
  32. on a 386 with 5meg. I'm doing well enough. I have winsock, netscape and 
  33. keaterm. I said Bye,bye to america online and the heck with rpi+.
